Position: Events Coordinator 

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Detroit Training Center (DTC) specializes in workforce development programs in construction, manufacturing, and transportation-- including but not limited to blight removal, heavy equipment operation, commercial driver’s licenses, and welding programs. DTC also offers a range of other class, workforce development opportunities, and trainings.

Job Summary:

DTC is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Events Coordinator to plan, organize, and execute various events. The Events Coordinator will play a crucial role in promoting DTC’s programs and engaging with the community.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate events put on by Detroit Training Center including, Graduations, Networking Events, as well as attend events in the community. 

Events will occur throughout the week, with a concentration on Evenings and Weekends as that is when most are scheduled. 

Qualifications:

Experience with Events Management, Social Media Marketing. 

Compensation:

This is an hourly position with a pay rate of $18 per hour.
